Several new construction home builders in Tucson, Oro Valley, Marana, Sahuarita and Green Velley are now offering major changes in their methods of construction, following national enthusiasm for conserving energy and "thinking green".

In additional, owners of existing homes are also taking steps to remodel their homes to keep more dollars in their pockets every month. Such steps also make the home more attractive to buyers as the sellers can now promote the home as a more energy efficient.
